Faringdon's charity record fair, usually held a couple of times a year for local people and selected retailers to bring great music to our Market Square.

Coming up very soon, a week on Saturday, on the 27th June is another Faringdon Record and Art Fair in the Corn Exchange brought by Simon Meare, A big selection of records, art and djs spinning all day, including four from our very own Los Amigos vinyl DJ collective. Doors open at 10.

So at the end of February one of our former sellers Simon Meare from Swindon is taking to run a different version of the Faringdon Record Fair. In the Corn Exchange, a bigger venue and no stairs or lifts either. Saturday 28 February 10 - 4pm and he has three more planned for later in the year.

Thanks to all the sellers and record buyers who came to yesterday’s snug Record Fair in the Old Town Hall. Glad we carried on upstairs. We raised over £100 for the Faringdon Food Bank. Look out for another one in April, possibly with a change of venue, to be determined. Cheers!

Good News! In the light of the imminent arrival of Storm Bert on Saturday and the promise of heavy rain and high winds we have decided to change the Record Fair to an indoor event only. Same location - the Old Town Hall, same hours and most of the same sellers. Come and join us and help us raise some funds for the Faringdon Food Bank. Open from 10 to 2pm.

We're very much looking forward to the 23rd, we've got a few new sellers this time, so welcome to Pete, Steve and Mark (who has been once before), alongside our perennials Eddie Rugg, Mike from Play it Again, Paul from Little Record Store, Simon from Swindon and our very own Andy Kehoe. The African Children's Fund are back selling refreshments upstairs too. See the current layout arrangement below. Click on picture to see full details.

We're getting excited about the Record Fair on this Saturday fast approaching. We're aware that it's also Record Store Day and that a new record fair is happening in Oxpens, Oxford, but surely there's time to do all of it.

Several of the Los Amigos DJs will be putting out some cool music into the square on the day too.

Thanks to those kind people who have donated old vinyl for rehoming and raise some money for A Helping Hand at the same time.

We've also provisionally reserved Saturday 23rd November for the next one too!
