The Mad Dog Mcrea Weekender is returning for 2027!

After a sellout event in 2026, Exeter Phoenix and West Country festival promoters Fuelled By Cider are once again teaming up to bring you a foot-stomping Spring festival headlined by Mad Dog Mcrea themselves.

DATES: Friday 26th & Saturday 27th March

LOCATION: The Phoenix, Gandy Street, Exeter, EX4 3LS

Following a huge number of entries, Rhys Hurd has been selected by Mad Dog Mcrea to join their Weekender line-up.

Bold and unapologetic, his music fuses 80s stadium rock with modern disco pop and electronic music. Hailing from Brixham and now based in Falmouth, his songs explore themes of self-confidence, human connection and overcoming obstacles.

Now in its fifth year, the Dog Mcrea Weekender takes place at Exeter Phoenix, in conjunction with Fuelled By Cider.
