'Changing the narrative – compassion and community for the world’s most vilified bird'
In this engaging talk, Sue Joyce of the National Pigeon Advocacy Association and littlegreenpigeon explores the challenges faced by pigeons and what we can all do to help them. She explains how these birds became so widespread in our towns and cities, why their connection with us matters, and how a growing community of compassionate people can transform their future — and reshape how we care for all animals.

⭐️STAGE ANNOUNCEMENT⭐️holroyd.505 is a poet and animal rights activist. He’s the author of the GreenBeard’s Vegan Verse series of poetry books and more recently the GreenBeard’s Vegan uniVerse Veganthology.
He is the Dreading Poetry Slam Champion 2025 and came 4th in the National England Slam Finals this year.
Paul is a real-life cRhyme fighter!

is a multi-instrumentalist whose musical style is shaped by influences from Delta
blues musicians, folk guitarists, and artists such as John Martyn and Ralph McTell. Predominantly
working with hybrid open tunings, he creates distinctive instrumental guitar music that blends rich
textures, expressive fingerstyle playing, and atmospheric soundscapes into a unique and personal
style.
