Sad news from the fabulous duo Filkin's Drift Seth and Chris are giving the duo one last run out and then they are calling it a day.

I've seen them play several times (and of course they played at Ryepiece back in March 2022) and they have always been amazing. Their chemistry and the quality of musicianship is really special. They've done some incredible things - like their walking, performing, tour of the Welsh coastal path. They brought together Filkin's Ensemble and have been generous in their promotion of other young musicians.

They are both involved in lots of other projects so we'll be hearing a lot more from both of them. But do try and catch them on this farewell tour (I think I'll be going to Tewkesbury).

And Chris and Seth....thank you both for so much wonderful music.

We've never done this before...captured some of our lovely audience on Friday night to document who was there. I'm sure lots of people will be claiming they saw Anna Ling in years to come!

What a wonderful night of contemporary folk music. Anna Anise opened with her Cornish language and strong voice to the fore. Then we were treated to Anna Ling ably accompanied by Stephen Cumberland.

Thank to everyone who made it so special.
