SUICRO 2025 – Photography Competition Now Open!

This year's photo competition is now open for entry, there will be four categories in this competions and how the photos are judged will be up to you (explained below).

Everyone is encouraged to enter, whether you are a well decorated photographer or you simply enjoy taking photos, this competition is for you.

Everything is explained below on how to enter, and best of luck to everyone.

Competition Categories

There will be four categories this year:

1. Mucking Around: your funniest caving photos/ action shots

2. Beauty of Caves: may include formations, wildlife and anything you deem

3. Family/Friends/Clubs: your best pictures showing off your caving amigos

4. Best Photo: all of the photos submitted will be entered into this category

How To Enter

Submit your photos using this Google Form link,

The closing date for entries is 22/10/25 at midnight. Don’t delay.

We need time for preparation and to print your photographs.
Everyone can submit up to 4 photos per category (excluding best photograph as this includes all categories).
You can submit photos for any/all categories. To prevent confusion/mix-ups, send a separate email for each category.
Please submit your photos at their original resolution.

How It Will Be Judged

This year, the judging panel will be you.
Each photo will be displayed in the first three categories.
Every person wishing to vote for their favourite photo will be given a different coloured sticker to be placed beside their photo of choice for that category
- Red for Mucking Around,
- Blue for Beauty of caving,
- Green for Family/Friends/Clubs.

You will also have a fourth sticker which you can place on the photo you consider the “Best”.
All of the stickers will be counted and the photos that have the most stickers in each category will win.
