Dear Entrants,

It is with deep regret that I must announce the cancellation of the Ellesmere 10K and 2K running event scheduled for Sunday 25th August 2024. This decision was not made lightly, and I understand the disappointment and inconvenience it may cause.

Unforeseen circumstances beyond my control necessitate this cancellation.

I sincerely apologise for any disruption this may cause. I know many of you have been training diligently and were looking forward to the camaraderie and challenge that this event provides.

You will be informed soon by email about the refund process.

I am deeply saddened to have to take this step, and I appreciate your understanding and patience as I work through this situation.

This is as fast and as popular as ever! This race genuinely does have PB potential for runners prepared to take it on with the course record being 29 mins 12 seconds which made Ellesmere 10k the 6th fastest 10k in the UK in 2012😱

The race is a mix of road and well surfaced flat trail, very gentle undulations with just one sharp turn and a hump-back canal bridge to negotiate. Plus some stunning scenery to zoom your way through🌳
