The Edinburgh Christmas Tree Festival

The Edinburgh Christmas Tree Festival This creative community festival connects businesses, charities and people in a celebration of Adven We will re-post some of our photos during Advent too.

After 10 successful years of welcoming thousands of visitors at St Andrew’s and St George’s West to enjoy a sparkling forest of creatively decorated Christmas Trees, we’ve decided to take a break in 2020. What started as a small venture, has for many young and not so young people become a special place to visit before Christmas, engaging with the beauty, creativity and the stories reflected by the

trees, listening to music, or taking a peaceful pause. Our wonderful visitors have donated over £30,000 to locally connected charities. We will be reflecting and considering what the future holds for The Edinburgh Christmas Tree Festival. We would love you to share your memories, feedback or comments with us. In the meantime we’re delighted that St Andrew’s and St George’s West is open Mondays to Fridays from 11.30 - 2.30, and for services in the Church and online (see website). You can join us online for our popular Carols at Six on 18th December. The Undercroft Cafe re-opens on Tuesday 24th November, Mondays to Thursdays 11.30 - 2.30 pm. Keep in touch with us:
