Cheaper Fringe For Locals was set up to enable promoters and performers to show their thanks to Edinburgh for hosting the wonderful festival every August. "Some form of resident discount would help get more local people onside and feel ownership for the festival, a bit of pride rather than just being annoyed by it - and ultimately go to more shows."
