Festival regulars, tune in. If you were in the crowd in previous years when Glasgow’s legendary DopeSickFly completely dominated the stage, you already know the level of magnetic energy Anthony Thomaz brings to a performance.

This year, the Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is making a triumphant return to the Main Stage with his brilliant solo project!

Ant Thomaz is an absolute master of genre-blending, serving up a distinct style of indie soul rock that is explicitly designed to do two things: make you think, and make you dance. Back in September 2022, Pocket Collective met up for the very first time. The catch? It was the literal night before their debut gig. Thankfully for the Scottish music scene, the chemistry instantly clicked. ⚡

If you've caught them regularing the best blues clubs and music bars across the Central Belt, you already know their secret: they are friends first, and bandmates second. That genuine joy and watertight connection shines through every single note they play.

A sea of red dresses is returning to Edinburgh… ❤️ For our 5th Year of performing.
The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever is back on Saturday 6th June at The Meadows Festival, a joyful mass dance celebration inspired by the iconic Kate Bush music video and the original concept created by UK performance collective Shambush.

Hundreds of people will come together dressed in red for one of the most visually spectacular, uplifting and fun events of the summer.

No dance experience needed… just enthusiasm, drama and a love of collective joy 💃🏻

Counting down to the weekend of 6th & 7th June! The Tonegarden Studios Main Stage is serving up incredible history, homegrown growth, and absolute festival madness across both days.

We love seeing local artists thrive-swipe through to see a massive Meadows return and an incredible main stage promotion:

💥 SATURDAY (6th June)
🥁 1:00 PM — Pocket Collective – Spreading pure joy with contemporary blues and a watertight, "friends-first" rhythm dynamic.
🎤 2:00 PM — Anthony Thomaz – Edinburgh-based indie soul rock that makes you think and dance. (Fun fact: regulars will remember Ant dominating the stage here in previous years with Glasgow's own DopeSickFly! 🙌)

👑 12:00 PM — (Queen Vee) – Breathtaking Irish-Jamaican Neo-Soul. After completely blowing us away on the Glow Stage last year, she has rightfully earned her promotion to the Main Stage for 2026! 📈✨
🎺 4:00 PM — The Smoking Jeffreys – The ultimate Meadows Festival veterans are back! Bringing funky sax, a bizarre attitude, and relentless, high-vis Ska energy to keep our Sunday 4 PM tradition alive in honour of Big Fat Panda. 🐼🖤

The Edinburgh Meadows Festival 2026 is just around the corner, and we are looking for some friendly volunteers to join our team this year! 🌸
If you love the festival, want to meet some new local folk, or just fancy spending a couple of hours doing something rewarding in the sunshine, we’d love to have you.
The Details:
⏱️ Super short-term: Shifts are only 2–3 hours long, so you’ll have plenty of time left to enjoy the festival itself.
👥 Bring a friend: First-time volunteers are totally welcome, and you can absolutely sign up for a shift together with a mate.
✨ No experience needed: Just a positive attitude! Half of our current team actually met through volunteering here, so it’s a brilliant way to find a new community.
Shoutout to any EdinburghCollege, ECCreativeIndustries, EdinburghCollegeMusic, EdinburghCollegeTV, or ECGLOW students looking for a fun local project to get involved with! 🙌

Mark your calendars for Sunday, 7th June! The Tonegarden Studios Main Stage is going to transform into a massive open-air club, and we are buzzing to welcome the fast-rising Scottish collective Jazz House Party to the Meadows! 🎪✨

Led by Nuna Mutikani and Adam "King of Keys" Usmani, this powerhouse ensemble seamlessly blends sophisticated live jazz improvisation with the driving, infectious grooves of classic house and funk.

With a rotating lineup of incredible guest vocalists and live dancers, no two shows are ever the same. Expect a completely modern, spontaneous house-party vibe that will have the entire park moving.
