With a brand new school uniform being introduced at the end of this school year, Crestwood Community School is accepting unwanted uniform skirts, blazers and ties to help support students this term (so parents don't need to buy new for such a short amount of time). ♻️

Passing on good‑quality items can make a real difference, and with the uniform changing soon, it’s the perfect moment to let go of anything you’ve been saving “just in case.”

Donations can be dropped off at either school campus during school hours or Top Set Learning Centre is happy to help by acting as an additional drop-off point. You’re welcome to leave items in a tied bag outside at any time: 15 Pirelli Way, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 5GE. ♻️

A divorced woman, holding onto an unworn wedding dress, decided it was time to let it go — but not by selling it. Instead, she offered it freely online, hoping it could bring joy to someone else. A struggling bride-to-be, unable to afford a dress for her big day, came across the offer and reached out — nervous, thankful, and overwhelmed.

When the day came to pass the dress on, the two women met in person. No money was exchanged. Just a quiet, meaningful hug between strangers who understood life’s unexpected turns. The bride held the gown to her chest like it was a miracle. The woman who gave it away simply smiled and said, “May it bring the happiness it was meant to.”

What started as a quiet act of letting go became a moment of shared grace. The giver found peace. The receiver found hope. And the dress — once folded away in silence — found its place in a new beginning.

Sometimes, the kindest things we can do cost nothing — just the courage to share.
