🌟 Today is the day! 🌟

Legends Live Consett has arrived! Doors open at 1pm and the brilliant local talent Miranda Newton takes the stage at 2pm. 🎶

This event is organised and run by three local people. We’ve poured our hearts into this because all we want is to give our community a fantastic day of music and memories. 💙

We know last year there were things to improve, and with the help of the rugby club we’ve worked hard to try make this year even better.

We can’t control the weather, but we can control the atmosphere — and together, we’ll make it unforgettable. If you need anything today, just speak to one of the team.

💡 Festival Tips for Today 💡

Bring a chair or picnic blanket so you’ve got a comfy spot to enjoy the music.

The marquee will be open on the sides so you can shelter if we get a shower (but fingers crossed for sunshine ☀️).

Don’t forget your layers and waterproofs — this is England after all!

Most importantly, bring your best singing voices and dancing shoes. 🎤🕺💃

The event finishes at 7:30pm, so please make arrangements for your travel home afterwards. 🚗🚌🚶

Just to let you know, we’ve also made a small change to the site plan – the stage will now face the marquee. The marquee will have the sides open, so there’s shelter available if the rain does make an appearance.

🌦️ A Little Weather Update for Saturday 🌤

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the forecast (probably more than the weather man by now 👀), and while it changes almost hourly, most sources agree there’s a chance of some rain on Saturday. But hey – this is England, and a bit of drizzle has never stopped a good festival 🎶.

The good news is the temperature’s looking steady around 15°, perfect for a day of music, food and dancing.

Our top tip? Bring a couple of layers, a waterproof jacket just in case, and feel free to pack an umbrella (big or small – all are welcome). We’ll bring the music, you bring the good vibes – and together we’ll make it a day to remember! 💃🕺

INFORMATION FOR 2025!

We can't wait to see you all for 2025, we've put a lot of hard work into this event for our community. We have a few guidelines below to keep everyone, including yourself safe!

💷 Traders accept both cash and card.

🪑Camping chairs and blankets are permitted.

☂️ Standard Umbrellas are welcome, but please no patio Umbrellas. Unfortunately, we can not allow gazebos on the field. (This is due to hazards if the wind picks up)

🍽 We have different food options on site. You may bring snacks/a small picnic. Only sealed water will be permitted.

🅿️ Free Parking at the rugby club, once this is full please park respectively of our local residents. Parking is limited, so if you can, please car share, use public transport, or walk to the venue if possible.

🍺 Consett Rugby Club have been working behind the scenes and have new and improved bars for this years event.

🏠 Please respect our neighbours. When leaving the venue, please don't cause a public nuisance. Leave responsibly and think of others.

🚭 We would kindly ask if you want to smoke on the field to use the designated smoking area.

🌤 Please make sure you take precautions for all weather types. Bring a rain coat/extra layers as some rain is forecast.

🚸 Due to safety reasons, ALL children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

🕺🏻 Mainly, ENJOY yourself. If you have a question or problem, just see a member of staff or the security & medic team. We are here to make this a lively, welcoming local festival. 🫶🏽

🕑 Gates open 13:00, event will end 7:30pm.

🚖 Please pre book taxis as these are likely to be busy. Make sure you use a reputable company. Consett Cars - Taxis / Hendersons Taxis / Jay's / Swans Taxis etc.

At Legends Live Consett the foam party kicks off at 6pm! 🎉 Expect bubbles, laughs, and a lot of fun – but remember, if you’re getting involved… you will get wet! 🫧
