Organised by Mull Car Club, the 'Dunoon Presents Argyll Rally' is a closed-road asphalt stage event held in Dunoon in Argyll and Bute. After three years as a popular gravel event, in a dramatic shift in format, the previously all-gravel event switched to a closed-road sealed surface rally for the first time in 2021 and despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was a fant

astic success. In 2022, the event will consist of 13 stages on the closed public roads, with four stages on the Friday Night, and 9 stages on the Saturday. The first two stages on the Friday night will be around Dunoon Town Centre, with first car due at 19:30. The remaining 3 stages on Friday night will around the Cowal Peninsula. The Saturday stages will consist of four stages double run around the Cowal Peninsula. First cars on the Saturday will depart Dunoon Stadium at 09:00, returning back at Dunoon Stadium around 16:40. The event will form a round of the KNC Groundworks Scottish Rally Championship,
Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship, SD34 MSG Stage Rally Championship, AS Performance North of England Tarmacadam Rally Championship and The HRCR Mini Sport Cup. Rally HQ, Scrutineering and Service Park all based in Dunoon Stadium.
