Dunoon Police 5-a-sides This page is designed to help publicise the Dunoon Police 5-a-side football tournament which runs every June. For under 8s up to adults.

Saturday 4th - Sunday 5th June 2016. 9am start both days. Under 8s to Under 16s on Saturday, Over 18s, Under 35s and Over 35s on Sunday.

£30 entry fee per team, maximum 6 players per team.

Closing date for entries will be Thursday 4th of June 2026!

Registration 9:15am, for kick off at 10am!

6 players per team, £30 entry fee required on the day.

So far we only have 1 entry for the Under 16s on Saturday 6th June and 11 entries for the Adults on Sunday the 7th of June.

Obviously, as it stands it looks like Saturday will be getting cancelled again this year.

As of Sunday, we will run to the closing date and see how many entries we get. We would like to at least have 16 teams! So if you haven’t already, please submit your teams via the online form!!

We are not able to view the old link previously posted therefore everyone who has already entered will have to resubmit their entry’s using the link below!

WE ARE BACK 🏟️⚽️🏆

Friday 5th June 2026 - Primary School athletics and 5-a-side
Saturday 6th June 2026 - Under 10s - 16s
Sunday 7th June 2026 - Over 16s - Adults

Like last year we will have our online form up and running soon so keep an eye out on our page over the next few weeks. Paper forms will also be available to collect at Dunoon Police Station.

Unfortunately due to lack of entries we had to cancel our under 10s - 16s last year. We don’t want to have the same this year so let’s try and get as many entries as possible!! ⚽️

And that’s a wrap!🏆⚽️

What a great weekend for the return of Police 5-side Tournament! We want to say thank you to everyone who entered! Without you all we wouldn’t have been able to continue the tournament! 😊

Friday we were a bit unfortunate with the weather however we still had a great day for our Local Primary Schools! 🌧️

Sunday the weather improved and has probably left the majority of us with some dodgy sunburn ☀️

We have a few special thanks to make;

Alan McNee and the DYFL for allowing us to use their equipment, opening up the clubhouse and changing rooms! ⚽️

Kirn Rooms Caterers for the food that kept everyone going on the day! 🍔

Charlie the groundsman for getting the pitches ready, opening up every morning for us and marshalling the cars! 🏟️

Dunoon Grammar School referee volunteers who saved us last minute on Friday to help ref the primary school games!

Lastly a big thanks to our five Referees who travelled over for Sunday! We couldn’t have done it without you guys! ⚽️
