Every year we get asked the same question for our Mactuff Spring event...
How muddy can it get?
Answer in the below video..

We've got some great mud spots at both Fife and Aberdeen, but at this one in Fife you can actually swim through it (if that's your thing). Of course you always have the choice to walk by the really really muddy bits if you don't like it.

The photo displayed is one of the winter Mactuff stalwarts Roy, who regularly made the trip from the tropical climate of Hastings on the south coast of England to participate in many New Year Mactuffs. Thanks to Roy and many many of you that have supported the New Year Mactuff over the years.
We continue with 5k/10k Spring and Autumn Mactuffs and Really Muddy's, as well as the new MacTuffx Fitness Racing series across the UK. We hope to see Roy and many more of you at our forthcoming events. Check them out at www.mactuff.com and www.mactuffx.com

ON THE DAY EVENT UPDATES

New Year Mactuff - the event remains ON and is going ahead. To advise all participants of issues affecting the course due to current conditions, please check the pre info page. All participants will be advised to check the page and this will be updated by 10:30am with any details affecting the course and obstacles for the event.

06:45AM UPDATE: Access to Knockhill is currently completely clear, with the M90 and access roads now very wet due to rainy sleet.
Initial course inspection: the rainy sleet has removed most of the snow covering the course, however there are icy patches throughout the course. Whilst the event is 100% going ahead, decision has been made that the competitive element of the event is not safe under the circumstances, so the event will be without a 'race element' and will not be timed.
