Exciting progress on our new event space!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a retreat day for a local high school in the space before the installation of our new black drapes. It was great to see the room already being put to good use.

Since then, the black drapes have been fully installed, along with our new lighting and projector system. This weekend, the carpet will be laid, and our brand-new sound system will be installed shortly afterwards.

The transformation is really taking shape, creating a flexible, modern venue that's ideal for conferences, training days, concerts, community events, celebrations, and much more.

Setting up for a large staff away day

We’re excited to share that work is now underway to transform our Sports Hall area into a fully equipped event space at Hope City Church.

As demand for flexible event venues continues to grow, we wanted to maximise the potential of this space and create a high-quality “mid-sized” room for events that are too small for our Cairngorm Hall, while still offering a professional venue experience.

The new space will feature:

• A permanent stage area

• New lighting installation

• Projector and screen

• Professional sound system

• Flexible room layout with the ability to divide the space into two smaller rooms using a large partition curtain

This development will allow us to better accommodate conferences, training days, community events, performances, worship nights, and corporate gatherings.

Expected completion date: Beginning of July.
