As laid out in the event email sent to Dunblane Road Race participants, it has been necessary to adjust the return leg of the youth race after last Sunday's fire. Runners will now return to Stirling Road via Bridgend rather than Station Road (see attached pic). Any other adjustments will be carefully managed on the day.

There will be NO changes to the route of the adult race.

All other information is laid out in the event email and at https://dunblaneroadrace.co.uk/race-info-entry/. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!

We hope everyone's having a good taper week!

We are down to the last few youth race places and there are still some buffs up for grabs too.

You can enter the youth race via https://dunblaneroadrace.co.uk/ and comment here if you'd like to reserve a buff instead of a medal at the finish line.

Both available until 5pm today!

We have been thrilled with the reaction to our new Dunblane Road Race medals, but we know that the classic buffs remain very popular too.

As such, we are happy to offer a limited amount of buffs from previous years instead of medals at the 2026 race for those who'd prefer them.

We can accommodate some requests in advance from people who would like to reserve a buff. Please get in touch via our social channels (either here or Instagram) before Thursday, May 28, and we will get back to you.

Otherwise, when you cross the finish line on May 31, ask for a buff instead of a medal and if -- a big if! -- there are any left, you'll be welcome to one.

NB: Buffs will be instead of a medal, not additional to. Feel free to get in touch with any questions.

Many of us will have seen photos and videos of the fire in The Chip Inn in Dunblane on Sunday.

We are very glad that nobody was hurt and grateful to the fire service for their immense and extensive efforts. We send our best wishes to those affected and hope that damage to other homes and businesses will be minimal.

If there are any changes to the Dunblane Road Race on Sunday, we will communicate them clearly ahead of time. As ever please get in touch if you have any questions.

Our thanks also go to CTM Group, who provide the safety cones and barriers necessary for operating the Dunblane Road Race.

This equipment, which they lend free of charge, is crucial to keeping the race smooth, enjoyable and above all safe for all runners and volunteers, for which we are very grateful.

Thank you CTM!
