If you are up Dumfries town today, come in and meet one of our Music team; Konk-om-Pax who will be in session at the Supper Club all day waiting to hear your rave stories from 1pm - 5pm.

Konx‑om‑Pax is the alias of Glasgow‑based musician and visual artist Tom Scholefield, whose multidisciplinary practice bridges electronic music, visual art, and immersive performance.

Were you there when rave culture exploded?

The warehouses. The fields. The convoys. The clubs. The sound systems. The clothes. The people. The police. The friendships. The absolute chaos of it all.

We're creating Rave Experience, a new 20-minute immersive experience telling the story of rave culture - and we want the people who actually lived it to help us get the story right.

As well as hosting a drop-in session on Saturday 5th Sep, 1pm-2pm, we're hosting an informal online conversation with ravers from across the country.

Tell us what you remember. What it felt like. Where you went. What changed. What people today don't understand about it.
No polished answers needed - just come and talk rave with us.

Illegal or Ticketed?

The image is from Castlemorton, apparantley it was the biggest illegal Rave in UK history taking place in 1992.

Did you go to any free parties?

We have been blown away by some of the content you are sharing of Raves you attended. Help us build the picture of Rave here in South Scotland and join the conversation.

Massive thanks to Tina Bell for sending us all these tickets. We also note the use of no cameras which reminds us just how much freedom this generation had to express themselves.
