We have had to make the decision to cancel our Junior Highland Games event this year due to the growing concern around COVID-19 (coronavirus). The health and well-being of our children, parents and the community are of the utmost importance to us so this is the right thing to do.

We very much regret the cancellation but wanted to make this decision now to give certainty to everyone involved.

Although this is disappointing news, I am sure you will understand the reasons behind this decision and our desire to protect the well-being of our community.

Our committee have done a great job with lots of hard work and effort going into the planning of these games. We will of course continue to plan the Junior Highland Games for the Spring of 2021, which will mark our 30th Anniversary of the Junior Highland Games.

We will update you later on this year once we have the details for next year’s games. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

In 1962 this was the world’s biggest cake! It weighed 2500lbs. Will a cake like this appear in the tea tent tomorrow?? Wouldn’t that be brilliant? Although any & all cakes of any & all sizes would also be brilliant. Get baking! Or get shopping! Any donations gratefully received!
