Glenurquhart Highland Games Loch Ness Glenurquhart Highland Gathering and Games are held on the fourth Saturday in August. Situated on the shores of Loch Ness, Drumnadrochit.

The Games include the traditional events performed by the heavy athletes – throwing weights and hammers and tossing the caber. There is the Glen Challenge - a run, walk or cycle; the Achmony hill race, track and field events for adults and children, piping and the very popular tug o’war.
