How blessed am I to have been surrounded and supported by this lovely gang last week!

From my book club members to friends, from family to customers, and even a former bookseller!

would not have happened without their brilliant volunteering and organising skills.

Thank you to each every one of them! ❤️

We had two fabulous children's events yesterday to start off Saturday at .

First up, we had a workshop where showed the kids how to draw and sketch their own bookmarks! They enjoyed it so much that Suzanne needs to keep the same day next year free!

Next up, we had a read, sing, and colouring session with author Zoë Stevenson. I've had so many lovely messages from parents, saying how much their children loved it!

Thanks to Suzanne and Zoë, and a big shout-out to Katrina and Grace, our volunteers, who enjoyed it as much as the children!

Last night, our lovely friend came back to Dromore to chat with about her new book, The Truth About Ruby Cooper. How she manages to speak about it without spoilers just blows my mind!

It's always a genuine pleasure to see Liz, and of course, her favourite husband was with her!

I have a lovely stack of signed copies of all of Liz's books in stock!

The night Cecelia Ahern came to town!

What an amazing event we had on Friday night at ! We were all captivated by Cecelia and so grateful for the time she spent afterwards signing and chatting to everyone in the massive queue!

This was our first time using St Colman’s Church as a venue, and it provided the most beautiful setting for a wonderful evening of bookish chat ❤️

📣Due to the large numbers attending this evening's event with Claire Keegan in ST COLMAN'S CHURCH, we will be opening the doors at 7pm.

Free carparking is available at Cross Lane, Lottery Place, and Dromore Methodist Church Carpark. There are a few spaces within St Colman's grounds itself.
All on-street carparking is free.

If you have any mobility issues, please get in touch, and we will do our utmost to help.

In terms of book signing, again, due to the crowds coming tonight, we will have to insist that only books purchased on the night may be signed. I know this may seem harsh, but it also ensures that Dromore Book Festival can exist. Without book sales there would be no festival so please do not bring books purchased elsewhere 😪 📣

I'm running behind with posts!

Many thanks to Maggie Doyle, Cara Finegan, Laura McLoughlin, Bernie McQuillan, Lisa Gorman, and Jamie Guiney for taking part in our Six Writers, Six Paths To Publication event.

The feedback has been brilliant. Notes were jotted down, the advice was listed ended to and lots of inspiration was taken!

Thanks to the always wonderful Hannah King for being an awesome moderator!

I have had so many lovely messages from people telling me how much they enjoyed last night. It's been wonderful to hear!

HUGE thanks to Matt for flying over. Apparently, he would have swum across to be at , so no pressure for next time, Matt!

If you haven’t read Frank and Red, you are missing out!

Tonight, at 8pm in St Colman's Church (not the hall) we have the very lovely Cecelia Ahern.

**As this event is in a large, old church, we would advise that you wear warm clothing!**

We will have lots of Cecelia's books available to be signed tonight. Purchasing a book at the event ensures that future author visits can happen and keeps your local literary community!
