Cotswold Way Challenge

Cotswold Way Challenge TBC..... In November 2019, a group of colleagues completed a Mental Health First Aid Training course. Wish us luck!

We're taking on this active challenge as a team on behalf of the charity Mind to raise mental health awareness, as well as the support that's available to our peers, colleagues, friends and family, making sure nobody faces a mental health problem alone. We all have our own experiences with Mental Health, whether personally or with family & friends, but we each have our own reasons behind wanting t

o take part in this challenge for Mind and raising awareness of mental health. The beautiful Cotswold Way provides a stunning setting for this VERY testing challenge - 100km continuous walk starting and finishing in Cheltenham (with some tough hills along the way!)

This will be by no means easy, training alone will be arduous and we may have to rely on our mental prowess to get us through! BUT we can’t think of a better challenge for a more deserving cause and we shall all be very proud to walk as a team on behalf of Mind.

"Here we go again...unbelievably it has been a whole year since ankle-gate! A year of doctors and physio appointments, learning to walk again, realising I definitely cannot wear heels again (the hard way!) and finally getting back on two feet in the countryside. Here I am, a little heavier and not as fit, but still grateful all the same and ready to give the Cotswold Way Challenge 2022 everything I've got!

This was always going to be a tough challenge, one that I really wanted to take on for , with the added complication of a long standing injury, it will now certainly be a case of digging really deep and

If you sponsored the team last year (thank you again), a 5th of this has been carried over to this year's fundraising page. If you didn't sponsor last year or very generously would like to support this cause a second time, then please visit my new fundraising page:

Alternatively, you could also help me get through the challenge on 25th June 2022 by contributing to my Spotify playlist!

Please add any tunes you think will help to keep me going as I try and emulate my amazing teammates from last year and walk 100km flying solo!!!"
