The 2023 vickers.bet Leger Legends Race and Charity Lunch was once again extraordinarily successful in raising money and providing support to the two amazing charities, the The Injured Jockeys Fund and The National Horseracing College.

On Saturday 27th January 2024 at Doncaster Racecourse, we were delighted to present Colonel Stephen Padgett OBE, Leger Legends Committee Chairman and CEO of the National Horseracing College and Jack Berry and Jo Russell of the IJF Jack Berry House with cheques following the success of the 2023 raceday.

Since the inauguration of the race in 2010, the race and charity lunch has raised an astounding £1.2Million for the two charities, who are integral to the British horseracing industry.

Without the retired legends of the saddle who come out of retirement to take part in the race, and the generous supporters who donate auction prizes and those who buy the prizes, and the owners and trainers who provide horses for the thrilling race, none of this would be possible. We'd also like to say a big thank you to Jo Vickers and vickers.bet, for being the 2023 headline sponsor.
