A selection of local glen stalls are popping up this weekend on the car park in front of The Tormaukin - running 10am–3pm today and tomorrow.

Expect a handful of lovely festive bits including:

✨ Local venison, sausages & mince

It’s a cosy little community market organised by our Glen neighbours, so do pop by and support them if you’re passing. ❤️

🍾✨ Ring in Hogmanay with Us! - A Cosy Scottish Banquet & Overnight Escape

Dear friends,
Hogmanay at the Tormaukin is almost here — and this year we’re hosting a warm, intimate celebration in the glen.

Join us for a Scottish Hogmanay Buffet Banquet: hearty cock-a-leekie stew, haggis neeps & tatties, dressed salmon, winter salads, a festive dessert table and much more… all by candlelight as we welcome 2026 together.

Banquet Tickets: £65 per person. Including a Midnight toast with a complimentary glass of Prosecco or dram of whisky.
Stay the night: £195 per person, including the banquet, and a hot cooked full Scottish breakfast on New Year’s morning.

Escape the crowds, bring your family, and make a night of it in our cosy country inn.

Our cosy Christmas Craft Fair at The Tormaukin, Glendevon is almost fully booked - and we’re now putting out a last call for a handful of final stalls 🎄✨

If you’re a maker, baker, crafter, artist, or small local business, this is your chance to showcase your work in a warm, atmospheric country inn, right at the start of the festive season.

🗓 Sunday 30th November
⏰ 11am – 3pm
📍 Indoors at The Tormaukin, Glendevon
💷 £35 per stall
🪑 Bring your own table (up to 6ft) or we can provide one

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Halloween evening — what a fantastic turnout! From the spooky storytelling to the ghost hunt, it was such a brilliant night, and we loved seeing everyone getting into the spirit (some quite literally!) 👻 🍸

This Halloween, the inn comes alive with restless spirits, chilling legends, and a gourmet ‘banquet of the damned’ feast, to fortify you for the frights to come!

🎃 Food & Entertainment Ticket: £55 each 🎃

🕔 From 5pm: Arrive in fancy dress, sip spooktastic cocktails, and even peek into your fate with oracle card readings… if you dare.
🍽️ 7pm: Feast at our frightful Halloween buffet banquet - expect wickedly warming seasonal stews, indulgent autumn flavours that creep onto your plate, and devilishly sweet desserts.
👻 8pm–11.30pm: Join our guest hosts, the famous local "History & Horror" guides for ghost hunts, paranormal experiments in the oldest and most eerie rooms of our 300 year-old inn, and chilling Scottish tales by the fire. Take a look at their website: https://www.historyandhorrortours.com/
🕛 Midnight: Depart into the darkness… (by your car, or a midnight minibus is available)… unless you’re bold enough to stay the night!
