CALLING ALL COMEDY LOVERS! 🤣‼️ Hal Cruttenden is coming to Diss on Saturday 27 June!

His new show. Hal Cruttenden: Can Dish It Out But Can’t Take It, promises to stick it to ‘The Man’, as long as ‘The Man’ doesn’t stick it back to him.

With his trademark hard-hitting ‘take no prisoners’ comedy he will be hilariously pontificating on subjects like middle aged dating, social media, the insanity of modern politics and the fact that his daughters love him but don’t respect him.

His last tour was extended four times and he’s one of a select number of comics to have done Live At The Apollo three times and the Royal Variety twice, TV also includes Have I Got News For You, The Apprentice You’re Fired, Bake Off Extra Slice and Would I Lie To You.

Here's a real treat for lovers of chilling tales and ghostly stories! 👻 Join us on Sunday 31 May when the brilliant Raconteur Theatre Company bring their new show, Suffolk Spectres, to The Corn Hall Diss.

This new set of horror stories are all set in spectral Suffolk. Who knew there were so many ghostly goings on, just over the border!

👻 Who are the green children of the wolf pit?
👻 Where will the lantern men lead you?
👻 Who else can see the Grey Lady?

In the hall of Dr Hemlock’s country house, the guests decide to pass the night by telling tales of Suffolk Spectres, monsters, ghosts, myths and truths. 👻

2026 is the centenary year of the great Kenneth Williams, one of Britain’s most distinctive and beloved performers. To mark this, join Simon Cartwright, Russell Davies, Mark Farrelly and Madeline Smith for an unforgettable journey through Kenneth’s extraordinary life.

The performance showcases readings of scenes and sketches from his most iconic work, alongside moving and revealing extracts from his private diaries which will be shared onstage for the very first time.

By turns hilarious and deeply poignant, this celebration pays tribute to the wit and brilliance of a true national treasure. There will also be a Q and A with the cast, and a chance to share your memories of Kenneth.
