THIS FRIDAY NIGHT

Didcot Town chairman John Bailey is our next 'Evening With' at Didcot Town Football Club.

John, a former professional footballer at Swindon Town, will be at the club on Friday, 10th October, to talk about his own footballing career.

For the past 30 years, he's been chairman at Didcot Town, overseeing a ground move, the team winning the FA Vase and reaching the first round of the FA Cup.

John came through the schoolboy ranks at the County Ground at Swindon Town, first joining in 1964.

He made his professional debut for the club against Southport in April 1968.

After leaving the County Ground in 1971, he had spells with Cheltenham Town, Witney Town, Thame United, Worcester City, Aylesbury United, Abingdon United and Didcot.

Matt Aplin will once again be asking the questions.

The evening starts at 7.30pm.

Come down, enjoy a pint and listen to John talk about his life in football.
