After the huge success of our first ever Home Education Dance Class on Tuesday, we’re excited to announce we’ll now be running it as a weekly lesson! 💃🕺

This class is a brilliant way for children to:

DIDCOT’S FIRST EVER HOME EDUCATION DANCE CLASS! 🩰✨

After taking my own children out of the school system, I quickly realised there was a real need for more activities for home-educated families in our local community — and dance is such a brilliant one.

With 27 years’ experience teaching and mentoring young people, and as a parent to children with additional needs myself, I’ve also spent many years working with young people with learning disabilities. So I’ve finally decided to bite the bullet and start my own dance class for home-educated children and children who struggle in school.

Today was our very first session and it was a HUGE success!
We had 17 children turn up — dancing their hearts out, smiling, and having so much fun… which is exactly what it’s all about. 💛

Dance is amazing for:
✅ mental health
✅ physical health
✅ confidence
✅ meeting new people and making friends

I’m so excited for what’s to come!

After deciding to home educate my own children, I realised how many families are on a similar journey — and how few local opportunities there are for dance and movement.

With over 27 years of experience in dance and performing arts and working with children and having a child with extra needs. I’m so excited to be launching a home education dance class in Didcot. This class is open to home-educated children and those currently learning from home who find mainstream school challenging.

My aim is to create a supportive, inclusive, and creative space where children can move, express themselves, build confidence, and simply enjoy dance.

Spaces are limited, so please get in touch if you’d like to book.

All students will be involved and performing, so please save the date now.
