Anyone else suffering the Tuesday blues?

Just a very quick post from all of the Horizons team to say a big fat thank you to every single one of you who came along to Horizons this year and made it into such a special party.

We had to turn people away from the gate as not only did we sell out tickets but we had the full 300 check in, which is nuts.

Every person there was so lovely, friendly, polite and kind - we couldn’t have dreamt of a better bunch to spend the weekend with and put this thing on for.

We’re not going to lie and say it was easy going - it really wasn’t. The stress and anxiety that comes with organising even just a tiny festival like ours took us right to the edge, but it was worth it. It was worth it to see the dancing, smiling and joy that you all brought with you in abundance. Next time maybe we more than just 8 of us doing everything, although checking you in, then serving you drinks before playing you tunes is definitely a fun journey to go on!!!

There’s so much going on in all our lives, and in the wider world, that to have just a few hours in a beautiful field, dancing to wicked tunes with a load of awesome people, makes the difference - and that’s down to you lovely lot being there doing your thing.

Hey folks! What an amazing weekend! Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts to each of you who was able to made it for making it such a special party.

2 requests from us:

1. Please please share any pictures and videos you snapped. We were running around trying to keep things ticking over the festival - door to bar to dj, rinse and repeat, and, we didn’t get to take many pictures ourselves so any shares would be magic.

2. SUPER IMPORTANT - if you left your car in the field (we did ask to move it via email to ticket holders) please please please move it now. There’s a few still up there and it’s a working farm - so the cars can’t stay. The family who own the farm have been kind enough to let us run Horizons on their land and it’d be a such a shame if we loose their goodwill because folks didn’t just collect their cars.
