☔️ A BIG THANK YOU FROM SMALLEY CAR BOOT! ❤️

Well… the weather certainly did its very best to stop us this morning! 🌧️😂

At one point we were wondering whether we’d made the right call opening the gates, but thankfully the rain eased and it actually turned into a decent morning with over 150 sellers joining us! 🙌

We genuinely want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to every single seller who looked out of the window this morning, saw the rain and still thought… “Sod it, we’re going!” 😂👏

And of course, thank you to all the buyers who came out and supported them too. ❤️

We think this photo of two of our lovely regulars sums the morning up perfectly… sitting in the rain, hoods up, cup of tea in hand and carrying on regardless! ☕️🌧️🇬🇧

If ever there was a picture that captured British resilience, this is it! 😂❤️

REMINDER: We are 100% CLOSED next Sunday, 20th September, as the family are all away on holiday. ✈️☀️

We may be back for one final car boot on Sunday 27th September… but at this time of year, that decision is firmly in the hands of the weather gods! 🤞☀️

We have a great turnout of sellers….. looking like mixed forecast until 8am but then we’re clear.

BUT apparently the trusty iPhone weather says it should stop in about an hour… and at this point, we’re choosing to believe it! 📱😂🙏

So SIT TIGHT PEOPLE! We’ll update at 06:30.

As expected it’s light rain now 04:30, we’re expecting / hoping it clears up between 06:00-07:00.

The team are going up to the field and will open up at the normal time and will update on fb. As suggested sellers should arrive after 06:30.

We can try this or just cancel now as we did last week and it stopped after 20 minutes.
