We are thrilled to announce that we raised £1237.95 for Treetops this weekend. A special thank you to Derby A Ca****la choir who donated their fee to our collection in full! Also to our wonderful neighbours at 16 Cornhill who collected almost £100 as people visited their entry The Circus. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed towards this very worthy cause.

With the weekend fast approaching for our 2026 Allestree Scarecrow Festival, here’s a little guide on how it all works. Saturday and Sunday, find the festival tent in the garden and pick up your trail map, we are raising funds for Treetops hospice this year, so we are asking for donations of £2 per map, all of which will be donated in full. Please , please bring cash for this. Follow the map to see all the amazing Scarecrow entries. Vote for your favourite! There will be a bouncy castle in the garden and a BBQ , trade stalls too.
On Saturday afternoon we have the
Derby A Capella chorus in the garden. Sunday we have acoustic music with Ding no John, and Sax player Kevin Goodall! It looks like the weather will smile upon us thank goodness 😅 see you all over the weekend!
