We have got a belter of a first event to bring to you all! We are bringing live music back to The Venue with the brilliant on the 21st June. We have another superb support band to announce soon and a space for the third slot 👀

It is with a very heavy heart we have had to cancel this years festival. Due to investment and sponsorship changes it has left us in a position where the festival is no longer viable.

Everyone who has purchased tickets so far, I would like to personally say thank you, but it is not to be this year, you will receive refunds within 2 working days.

We still hope to contribute to the Derby Music scene and hope to help now and into the future.

When a songwriter is heralded as a major new talent by two icons of British music, it’s time to take note. Noel Gallagher has not only championed the young Geordie, but he also produced and played guitar on his track ‘Where’s My Family Gone’. Pete Doherty is similarly enamoured by Andrew’s flair for creating big anthems from songs which explore hefty social issues; first signing Andrew to his Strap Originals label and then taking him on tour with The Libertines.

songs are full of astute observations and honest meditations about life’s day-to-day tribulations. But despite the weight of the subject matter, his music possesses a tangible sense of hope too. He’s the product of his upbringing Newcastle, and fittingly the city is embracing him as one of their own.

The Lilacs are a high energy indie pop band from Wigan in the North West of England. In just 4 years together, the band have already started to make a name for themselves on the scene with over a million Spotify plays already and appearances at major festivals.

Attracting plays from radio stations such as Radio X ,XS Manchester and playing shows all around the UK in iconic venues including various O2 academy venues and Manchester’s Albert Hall, who knows what’s next for these lads.

With new music and a headline tour already underway for 2024 finishing a bang at the O2 Ritz Manchester - are certainly not to be missed.

A four piece Indie Rock band coming from Derby, .band take influence from the 2000/10s indie scene alongside modern post punk to create a sound reminiscent of those times, aiming to bring catchy riffs and heavy basslines back into modern day music. After being around for just over a year, The Blooms have amassed over 10 thousand streams on spotify and have gained a loyal following from gigging heavily.

A powerhouse Indie Rock band from the little town of Mansfield, combine catchy riffs with powerful choruses to create a stadium worthy atmosphere.

Following 12 months of heavy gigging, including high profile support slots with The Sherlocks and The Lottery Winners and debut festival performances at YNOT? and Splendour, the group ended 2023 on a high with a SOLD-OUT headline show at The Bodega in Nottingham!

Drawing inspiration from Indie favourites such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Killers and Arctic Monkeys, The Publics are striving to capture wider audiences up and down the country in 2024.

Presenting a dynamic trio that embarked on their musical journey in their early teens.
The trio since have shared a passion for music and began laying the foundation for the band’s distinct sound.

Their journey has taken them to countless venues across
the UK, showcasing their infectious energy and tight-knit
musical connection to audiences far and wide. Their latest single “Elvis” was released in October 2023 and has recieved lots of excitement, reaching 35k streams in just under 3 months.

The Roster is a rock four-piece hailing from Derby. They showcase their identity through a fusion of elements such as indie, rock’n’roll, blues and jazz to create a sound that they truly own. Indie Central Music echoed this when they praised the band for having bold intentions to buck trends and kick out the usual genre stereotypes.

Supporting The Skinner Brothers on their UK tour, appearing at YNOT Festival in 2023, as well as selling out multiple headline gigs local to them in Derby and Nottingham.

Their latest singles and EPs have caught the attention of magazines, including RGM, who commented that ‘‘Differing from the band’s standard indie approach, the new record mixes aspects of rock’n’roll with authentic storytelling typical of a ballad, which makes for a clever fusion of genres”.
