The Motor Mule A brand-new family friendly festival with high octane energy and plenty of heart comes to one of Kent's best loved events venues this August!

The Motor Mule Festival will take place alongside Deal Summer FEASTival on Deal Castle Promenade in 2026 - Live country, soul, blues and rock n roll from 3rd - 5th July 2026 Listen out for some fine tuning of guitars and cars as the Motor Mule comes to Quex Park - country, soul, blues and rock n roll in a local, national and international line up of musicians, motor cycles and automobiles.

🎶It's confirmed! In 2026, we will be taking the great music line-up from The Motor Mule Festival to Deal Summer FEASTival!

Working closely with the Zoom Events team, the artists and bands will play alongside the free to enter Deal Summer FEASTival on Deal Castle Promenade!

Dates for the Motor Mule music will stay the same from Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th July 2026, although the whole Deal FEASTival lasts from Wednesday 1st to Friday 5th July 2026.

Although we have cut some of the overheads for the Motor Mule Festival, we are asking you to consider helping us to cover costs by making a contribution in support. Although there will be no gate at the event, you can make a contribution by selecting a ticket option from the revised ticket shop on our website for an amount of £5.00, £10, £15 or £20 – whatever amount you can afford https://longtallproductions.live/the-motor-mule/

After much deliberation, we have decided that the Motor Mule Festival is not sustainable in its current form and alas, like many other festivals faced with the cost-of-living crisis, current and projected ticket sales are simply not enough to cover costs.

However, we are hugely reluctant to let this year’s unique line up of Americana artists slip away and we aim to deliver a streamlined version of the Mule alongside the summer market on Deal Castle Promenade scheduled for the same weekend 3/4/5 July 2026. We are working with the Zoom Events Team to incorporate the spirit of the Motor Mule at one of their most popular event locations to deliver what promises to be one of the South Coast’s most vibrant events of the year.

Although we have cut some of the overheads for the Motor Mule Festival, we are asking you to consider helping us to cover costs, by making a contribution in support. Just select a ticket option amount from £5.00 to £20.00 - whatever amount you can afford – when new day tickets go on sale through our website and ticketing partner platform.

Alas, camping is no longer available and anyone who has purchased original tickets for the Motor Mule Festival / camping passes will be refunded shortly. We are sorry to disappoint those of you who had bought into the weekender experience and we will keep this dream alive for the future, but in the meantime, we hope that you can still join us and local folk in Deal for some country, soul, blues and rock n roll on the South Coast.

📣Important Announcement - Reduced price camping, motorhome and caravan passes and new bands added!

Anyone who drives a car and feeds a family can't ignore the recent global events that are leading to huge rises in fuel and food costs. As event organisers we understand that this may make it more difficult for many of you to attend festivals where the expense of travel is a big consideration.

To help lift some of the burden, and bring The Motor Mule Festival 2026 closer to reach, we are reducing the price of all camping, caravan, and motorhome passes by 25%.

For those who have already purchased these passes at full price, we will be refunding the difference between the original and the new
reduced price shortly.

We don’t want you to miss out as now there is even more – just announced in the line up The Lock and Carter Country Blues Band, Outpost Drive and the Miles Cookman Band, have been added to the line-up! We’ll be sharing more details about them in the coming weeks🎶

📣The artist and band announcements are coming in fast for The Motor Mule 2026!🎶

Joining us from the US this summer will be Gloria Anderson.

Gloria Anderson is an Americana and Country singer-songwriter from Luling, Texas. More recently Gloria has lived in Nashville, Tennessee, where she studied the craft of songwriting at Belmont University. Her debut single 'Yours' reached over 185,000+ cumulative streams across all platforms.

Gloria’s music combines her humble Texas roots with a bit of Nashville country flair creating a genuine, unique Americana sound with relatable lyrics.

We'll be finding out more about Gloria and our other fantastic artists performing at this year's Motor Mule Festival in the run up to the event - stay tuned for further posts coming soon!
