🎉 Schedule Cover Competition Winner! 🎉

Dalston Show Secretary Julia recently visited St Michael’s C of E Primary School to present Elyssa Hunter with her prizes after she won this year’s Dalston Show Schedule Cover Competition. 🏆

Elyssa received her prize during the school’s celebration worship, where her fantastic design was recognised in front of staff and fellow pupils. We’re delighted with the winning entry and very grateful to everyone who took part in the competition.

You’ll be able to see Elyssa’s winning design on the Dalston Show schedule cover in a few months’ time – we can’t wait to share it with you! Everyone else’s excellent entries will be on display in the Industrial Tent on show day.

A couple of weeks ago, members of the Dalston Show committee came together to plant two oak trees in memory of Nick Utting, while also marking his remarkable time as Show Secretary from 1979 to 2022.

An extraordinary length of service and dedication. May these trees grow into a lasting legacy, offering shade, shelter and enjoyment to future generations of show-goers.

✨ A Huge Thank You to Nestlé Dalston ✨

Two weeks on from Dalston Show, we’d like to give a special thank you to our main sponsor, Nestlé Dalston, who have supported the show for over 30 years 💛

On show day, their brilliant stand kept everyone fuelled with coffee and entertained families with a fantastic children’s craft corner. Thanks to their hard work and generosity, they raised an incredible £1,300 for Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland 👏
