What made you want to be part of BFF team - i wanted to help out because it is something different from my usual work routine, I thought it would be a good chance to get involved and be part of a dedicated team supporting young kids football.

What are you most looking forward to at the festival this year - seeing everyone enjoy playing football and being part of the team

What made you want to be part of BFF team - What made me want to be part of the Barony Football Festival team is that I’ve seen the festival running before, and it always had really good vibes. It stood out as a positive, energetic event where there was a real sense of community and a focus of providing an opportunity for young people to take part, build confidence, and enjoy sport in a positive environment.

Favourite job/famous/infamous task at festival - I don’t think I have one yet but maybe I’ll figure it out this year 🤣🙈

SUPPORTIVE SATURDAY🚨

Barony Football Festival is proud to support Cumnock Juniors Community Enterprise

CJCE is a registered charity. It was formed in 2013 to establish and continually improve sports facilities and programmes which provide the catalyst and capability to contribute to community regeneration, improve the physical and mental wellbeing of its citizens and enable high levels of sporting excellence to be achieved.

CJCE have worked hard to become the largest community group in Cumnock and work with a wide range of all ages and abilities. We have successfully achieved SFA Platinum status and have been awarded East Ayrshire Council's Sports Club of the year, as well as the Queen's award for Voluntary Service.

CJCE operates Townhead Community Sports Hub and as well as the football activities provided by CJCE and its member clubs, it offers other sports and community initiatives including leadership opportunities and employability support.

CJCE offers multi generational activities from its very young 3 year old mini kickers to walking footballers at almost 80.

The trustees and staff are working hard to achieve to secure a brand new community building at the park to serve the people of Cumnock and surrounding areas for generations to come.

What made you want to be part of BFF team - I have attended the festival with my own team for a few years and I’ve always admired the set up, what they do for the community. Scott dropped it into conversation a couple years back and it kinda always stuck in my head then he approached me this year and I was delighted to be asked to be part of it.

Favourite job/famous/infamous task at festival 😂😂being my first year I guess I’m happy to get stuck in to anything ask me next year I’m sure I’ll have a proper answer

Favourite football player - has to be my son ( Broden ) and my daughter ( Lori )

Extra time or penalties - oh 🤦‍♀️ Penalties gets it over quicker
