Fancy learning something new and giving yourself a proper Friday treat? We've got a brand new short course launching this September with illustrator Ciara Flood. Our previously sold out evening class is now available for daytime for a limited time only!

Join us over 3 consecutive Fridays starting 25 September for 2 hours of expert tuition each week, guiding you to discover your creativity (and joy!) in painting and drawing. No pressure, no perfectionism just good company, and having a go.

Each week is a different topic:
🌳 Week 1 - Trees on a Hill (watercolour landscape)
🐾 Week 2 - Animal Drawing
🖼️ Week 3 - Portraiture

Whether you've never picked up a paintbrush or it's been a while this is your chance to reset your week.

New workshop alert: Nature Journaling with extremely talented local artist Mirri Rowland of ._ A combination of drawing and watercolours inspired by the natural world, in a relaxed, supportive group setting.

With the schools going back, it's the perfect excuse to carve out some time for yourself and we've got just the thing.

Our 6-Week Watercolour Art Course with Amanda Ellis starts tomorrow, 8th September at 10.30am A relaxed morning class suitable for all abilities, whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or want to build on skills you already have. Six weeks to immerse yourself in the world of watercolour painting. All materials are provided plus tea, coffee and home-made cake.

One long summer!
Little Hive kept us buzzing most of the summer with colourful chaos, the weather was amazing and somewhere in between it all we also managed a break for ourselves and families too.
Running a small business flat out for months is hard work so we took a proper break, had some sun, and stayed off email and socials for a few days, magical! Now we're rested, recharged, and so excited for what autumn & cosy season are going to be like at the Hive. New classes and old favourites have been steadily booking up in our absence as well so thank you to all our lovely customers for helping us relax!
