Join us for a friendly and engaging Chess Club where players of all levels are welcome! For just £4 per session, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, sharpen your skills, and meet fellow chess enthusiasts. We meet every Monday from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Clarence Hall in Crickhowell. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, come along for a great game and good company! ♟️

🎶🌟🎶 Join us at the Clarence Hall on Saturday, 24 October for an evening of live music with The Bypassers, supported by No Clouds Allowed, raising funds for Tŷ Hafan.

Organised by Jo Smyth, the concert will support the children’s hospice and its work with families across Wales, with Treebeards Bar running the bar throughout the evening.

🌟 Don’t miss the Persian Rug Sale at the Clarence Hall on Saturday, 19 September, from 10am to 4pm. This one-day event will feature a selection of rugs in a variety of sizes, patterns and colours. Everyone is welcome to come and browse!

🍁 Autumn at the Clarence Hall! 🍁

With the autumn season now under way, there’s plenty still to come at the Clarence Hall, from the Classic Blues Show and ABBA favourites with REVIVAL to the Wales Recorder Orchestra and Ebbw Valley Brass. Fundraising performances from The Black Rat Effect and The Bypassers, supported by No Clouds Allowed, will also support Cancer Research Wales and Tŷ Hafan.

Add in the Vintage & Makers Market, Persian Rug Sales, bingo, U3A talks, Crickhowell Garden Society, Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau activities, ESOL classes and familiar favourites including Cantorion Phoenix, Dance Beats and Line Dancing and you’ve got a packed autumn calendar.

Join us this October when The Classic Blues Show comes to the Clarence Hall for an evening of live blues classics, with Treebeards Bar Crickhowell running the bar throughout the night.

Following successful previous appearances, the band is back with its trademark blend of energetic live music, promising another great night while raising money for a very worthwhile cause.
