Greetings all!
I've recently been made aware of a local family who need our help, so this is a call to arms!
Gabriel needs our help to raise money for life saving treatment in America, here's a little bit about the appeal;
On the 14/05/21 Gabriel's family received devastating news that their beautiful newborn baby had a LARGE Tumour in his heart ( Left Ventricle Fibroma) only a handful of people have been diagnosed in the UK with this condition.
This come as a complete surprise to them all, as nothing was detected throughout pregnancy.
From that moment the families lives changed in an instant.
Gabriel had to go through numerous check ups and harsh medications which is still ongoing.
At 6 months old Gabriel developed life threatening tachycardia arrhythmia which was caused by bronchitis. He has ongoing respiratory infections due to the mass pressing on the airway of the lungs.
One day Gabriel's consultant asked if it was okay to send MRI images to BOSTON, after that day I was non stop trying to find more information non stop research trying to find a solution.
Boston Children's Hospital the #1 Hospital in the world, has quoted us £140K for debulk or resection of the ventricular fibroma.
The Cardiac surgeons at Boston are the best Cardiac in the world and they have done this operation several times. They are confident that they can Drastically improve or even Cure our little angel Gabriel.
The target is 140k! So it's a massive task, but we wanted to do our bit.
