As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to an end, we just wanted to remind everyone how powerful the arts can be for our wellbeing 💛

Whether it’s music, movement, creativity, connection, or simply taking time for yourself, the arts give us space to breathe, express, heal and recharge.

Here at Cranleigh Arts, we’re proud to offer activities that support both body and mind, including sound baths, movement classes, yoga, pilates, pottery and drum circles — welcoming spaces to relax, connect and feel good.

Mental health matters every month of the year, and sometimes the smallest acts of creativity and community can make the biggest difference ✨

🧵✨ Exhibition coming soon at Cranleigh Arts: *No Straight Lines* by Fee Fraser.

In this video, Fee is holding her incredible embroidered artwork of the Cranleigh Arts building — just one example of the beautiful detail featured throughout the exhibition.

The exhibition also features work by her husband, Simon Fraser. Where Fee goes small, Simon goes large, scaling up everyday objects into striking rugs.

Come and explore Fee’s unique textile creations at her first solo exhibition.

We’re delighted to share that we’ve been awarded a grant from Theatres Trust through their Small Grants Programme, supported by The Linbury Trust.

This funding has enabled us to install new LED lighting in the studio, along with upgraded uplighters in the main auditorium — improving the atmosphere of the space while also reducing energy consumption.

The grant has also funded two bespoke steward seats, positioned separately from the main seating bank to provide greater flexibility and improve accessibility for wheelchair users.

We’re incredibly grateful for this support, which will help us continue making our venue more welcoming, sustainable, and enjoyable for everyone.
