Hi everyone,

As you may have heard, Charlie and Smitty from Charlie’s Newsagent on Haynestone Road will be retiring on Friday 8th May. After more than 50 years of serving the Coundon community, it’s the end of an era!

Hollyfast PTFA have kindly organised a collection to say thank you and show our appreciation for everything they’ve done over the years.

So we are already at the end of January here at coundon lights we have had a busy start to 2026 , we just wanted to give a massive shout out to our supporters and the local business in the community that’s helped us put on this massive display. Most importantly we would like to give a special thank you to our friends and family who give up their time to support us .
