We thought it was about time to give you a little bit more information about our summer season of events. For our first CFON x MiMO summer session we have collaborated with artist RMBK to create a sonically soothing ambient session for our younger visitors. Join us from 12pm on August 6th in our Early Years exhibition at to experience baby binaural beats, melodies, and visuals. RMBK has create a visual and audio soundscape that will calm, engage, and enchant babies and toddlers alike. It might even help relax a frazzled parent or two!

Time to announce our first summer workshop! Come join us for a full day intermediate modular workshop developed and presented by Frequency Central’s Rick Holt. In the morning, Rick will teach you all you need to know about the ins and outs of modules you may find in a basic eurorack system. Then in the afternoon you will get to build and try out a mini system and create your own modular masterpiece. All this for just £50! Our second big announcement of the day is that there will be a ‘The City is Full of Noises’ festival in 2024. We even have snazzy new colours for our logo! The plan is have another March full of events and performances and then the big weekend will take place on 23rd & 24th MARCH 2024. So put the dates in your diary so you don’t forget! We’re still in the early planning stages at the moment so we can’t share any other details but stay tuned.

Our final look back at before our announcements tomorrow. We were super happy to have a number of manufacturers and sellers join us on Sunday for the Makers Marketplace. It was great chance for visitors to have a go on lots of different kinds of modules, systems and music making devices. Thanks to , , and . Thanks also to for some really interesting demos and interviews. Watch out for them on his channel in the future. We’re really hoping we can bring more makers and manufacturers to cfon events in the future.
