19/04/2022
In case you’ve not received a flyer or email about this event already… the region is hosting another SonoUK event on the 19-20th May 2022 at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts, on the Quayside. This is a not for profit festival of point of care ultrasound and we’re running 9 great ultrasound courses over the two days. Courses running include:
- Emergency medicine level 1 (Core)
- Emergency medicine level 2 (Enhanced)
- FAMUS (PoCUS for acute medicine)
- FUSIC heart (echo for critical care)
- FUSIC non heart (abdominal, lung, DVT etc for critical care patients)
- FUSIC heart HD (this is a new course aimed to introduce more enhanced echo skills into managing critical care patients)
- Paediatric emergency medicine
- Ultrasound-guided procedures (covers a great range of procedures)
- Ultrasound-guided nerve blocks for non-anaesthetists
The faculty list is the who’s who of UK PoCUS at the moment and we have loads of great PoCUS machines to practice on. The venue is great and parking is available nearby plus easy other transport links. There’s a social event on the Thursday evening at the Brinkburn Brewery too so you can relax after a hard days scanning!).
Please support this local event and pass on to your colleagues and chums! More details and booking options at www.sonouk.com.
Hope to see you there!
Following on from the fantastic success of SonoUK 2019, we are very pleased to announce we will be running SonoUK again in 2022. We would have been back sooner, but COVID19 saw to that!
