The British Inline Championships rebirth was founded by Matt 'squid' Witchalls. The British Inline Championships (BIC) was reborn to foster growth, popularity and acceptance across all aspects of inline skating worldwide. One of the goal of the BIC is to provide a platform that serves to excite the inline community and to educate everyone from the avid rider to newblood starting out to the public

Saturday 16th January marked the launch of the BIC at the one of the greatest venues in the UK Adrenaline Alley in the heart of Corby, England. Adrenaline Alley founder Mandy Young has really taken to the inline community and gone all out to make sure we can provide you with the best possible event. With Adrenaline alley partnered up with the BIC it provides a great platform for verious contest to be held at the event, allowing inliners to really showcase their talent whether it be on street, on park or on vert. Another one of the goals with the event, is to set up partnerships with other events worldwide, creating a global qualification system, allowing riders to instantly qualify for the finals at the BIC event. By creating this partnerships it will hopefull create a more competitive nature to competitions involved as well as a more connected cummunity. The BIC offers a great platform for young up and commers to be discovered with contest requirements making sure that there is a real fair level of competition across all it's contests. This will also allow everyone to really see the progression through out the years of fresh new blood entering the under's contest working their way up to pro. The event from which this was reborn from (The British Inline Open Championships) has helped kick start some of the biggest names in the UK scene and the BIC hopes to continue being that platform.
