Representing Bru Grappling, Simon enters the cage with years of experience on the mats and a reputation as one of the most respected grapplers around. A Brown Belt with countless hours of competition and training behind him, he now takes on a new challenge under the bright lights of the Virtus cage.

Shane Carmody steps back into the Virtus cage on August 22nd as the reigning Virtus Featherweight Champion, carrying the belt that every 145lb fighter wants around their waist.

Representing Holohan Martial Arts and training under the guidance of UFC veteran Paddy Holohan, Yazan comes from one of Ireland’s most respected MMA teams.

This will be Yazan’s second appearance on Virtus, and he’ll be looking to show just how much he has developed since his last outing. With another fight camp behind him and the experience of stepping under the Virtus lights already in the bank, expect a more confident and more dangerous version of Yazan on August 22nd.

Peadar Mackie is back on Virtus.

A product of local club OMMA, Peadar is no stranger to the Virtus cage, having already competed multiple times at novice level. Now he’s ready for the next chapter as he makes his amateur debut.

Training alongside some of the best in the country, Peadar is the main sparring partner of Cage Warriors star Damien McKenna. That means he’s no stranger to hard rounds, tough opponents, and being pushed to the limit.

A huge part of Team OMMA, Peadar gets the opportunity to compete once again in front of his hometown crowd. With the support of the local fans behind him and months of hard work in the bank, expect a big performance when he steps into the cage on August 22nd.
