What an absolutely incredible day!
Ian and Cath Carter at No Tier Snooker, we want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to every single person who supported our Black Ball Event. Whether you attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, or simply shared our event with others, you all played a part in making it an unforgettable success.
Seeing more than 250 people come together to support our mission of raising awareness of early on set dementia and FTD was truly inspiring. The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves while supporting a cause that means so much to us.
Thanks to Dennis Taylor and Steve Davis for playing for us and being so entertaining! Thanks to Chris Lovell for hosting and arranging so many things for us, referee Adam Tollerfield, Jamie on production, Andy on photos and Lee James at Sheffield Billiards for the snooker table! 👏
A very special thank you goes to Chris Green and George Harper at Zesty Digital whose outstanding work in designing and developing our ticket scanning system was simply exceptional. Their innovation and attention to detail meant that more than 250 guests were welcomed into the venue quickly and efficiently.
We would also like to thank the team at Congleton Town Council and Cathy Dean and also Congleton Lions 2025, and our volunteers and supporters who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Your dedication, professionalism, and generosity helped ensure the event ran smoothly from beginning to end.
A Huge Thanks to Jonathon who walked over 100 miles in 3 months raising £215 and Dee Lapsley for bringing him along! To Paul and Kyle with Kim Melvin for not only raising over £1,100 for No Tier Snooker but was amazing to watch their doubles frame against Steve and Dennis!
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who continues to support No Tier Snooker and attending our events. Together, we are doing far more than raising awareness—we are creating opportunities, bringing communities together, raising vital awareness of early on set dementia / FTD and showing that everyone deserves to feel included, valued, and supported.
Every ticket purchased, every donation made, every raffle ticket bought, every auction bid, and every word of encouragement helps us continue our journey.
We couldn't do this without you, and we are incredibly grateful for your support. Thank you for making our No Tier Snooker Black Ball Event such an outstanding success. Here's to many more incredible events together! The official pics to come but here are a couple!
