Forest of Dean Spring Half Marathon & Forest of Dean Autumn Half Marathon

Forest of Dean Spring Half Marathon & Forest of Dean Autumn Half Marathon The [now] two annual events are organised by The Rotary Club of Royal Forest of Dean with the aim of Mile-markers are provided.

The race course for the Spring HMs, favours forest trails and now complete road closures with no delays at road crossings. The officially-measured half-Marathon course (13 miles 192.5 yards) is run on way-marked trails laid out by the Forestry Commission. Special permission has been given to stage the race over this course. The course begins at Speech House and then follows the trails in a clockwise direction through the Forest of Dean to return to the finish at Speech House. The multi-terrain route will be fully signed and marshalled, and marked by yellow paint on the ground. The route generally uses well-maintained tracks with gentle inclines.

If you don't know why England athletic stage their Age Masters Trail race representative race on our course you have not run our Autumn Half.
With the UKA referee stating " I genuinely believe the events you and your team organise are of an outstanding level...." and our fantastic Marshals, not to mention the exceptional loos, we believe this race will be one of the highlights of your calendar if not your running.

With the Trail Running Association Short Course Championship and England Athletics Age Masters representative race within our Spring Trails Half, a good turnout of athletes from right across the Country competing alongside local runners.
