We had a wonderful four days at Edinburgh Fringe, scouting for new talent and soaking up everything the festival has to offer! 🎭

Here’s just a tiny little snapshot of our time there. It’s always such a joy to discover new writing, discover new artists and come away feeling creatively recharged and inspired.

Now to bring some of that Fringe magic back to Colchester… 👀

Artist Pick of the Fringe: Three Wise Women.

Crafted by Daisy Diamond Burlesque, this locally rooted story was brought to life in the beautiful outdoor setting of the Minories Garden at Commons. It was a truly special piece of theatre and a standout moment of the weekend. 🧙

A powerful and captivating solo performance, skilfully blending the story of William Dorsey Swann with Kurkendaal’s own experiences of racism and identity. An important, moving and brilliantly performed piece of theatre. 🎭
