We’re deeply saddened to hear that our friend Jo Fletcher-Cross has passed away.

Jo was part of the very first Colchester Fringe Festival in 2021, bringing her unforgettable show Everything I Know I Learned from Eurovision and lighting up the programme with her creativity, humour, and spirit. From that moment on, she remained a constant supporter and a true friend to Colchester Fringe.

Her passion for performance and her love of Eurovision left a lasting mark on all of us who had the joy of knowing her and experiencing her work.

In her honour, we’ll be hosting a Eurovision-themed after-party at our festival in October — a celebration of everything she brought to our community: colour, joy & music.

We’ll share more details soon. For now, we’re holding Jo close in our thoughts and sending love to all who knew her 💜
