Clitheroe Food Festival is a family focused event, which includes a large food and drink producers market, historical displays, farming and countryside representation; explaining how consumers buying local food and drink produce affects the countryside; live entertainment and much much more. Clitheroe's first Food Festival was in 2011, which attracted fifteen thousand visitors and resulted in the general public voting it third place in Lancashire and Blackpools Tourism Awards for 'Best Tourist Event 2011'. The Festival has increased in popularity by several thousand visitors in the last few years and has also been listed in the Top Ten UK Food Festivals by the national media!
