We finally made a trip over to the new home of yesterday and in no way did it disappoint , the very best cheeses and wines to takeaway or eat in (we did both). A great relaxed setting and service with a big smile , the perfect way to spend the water weekend , nibbling on cheese , sipping wine and people watching through the window.

One I’ve been meaning to try since it opened, and it was well worth the visit. This is far from your average breakfast or sandwich spot. From an elevated BLT to an onion bhaji salad, finished off with a slice of seasonal rhubarb cake, it’s the perfect relaxed lunch stop.

They also offer a general charcuterie evening menu with a great selection of wines, which I’ll no doubt be back to try soon 🍷 Keep an eye out for their special nights too.

Today we visited the . The perfect spot for a cosy roast after a Sunday walk (although I had a steak). 100% dog friendly and delicious.

Last night we spent our NYE at and it did not disappoint, the food was phenomenal and great atmosphere. The refurb is beautiful and the welcome as warm as the open fires. Definitely worth a visit for a cosy curry.

The perfect spot to take in an autumnal Sunday roast. In the heart of Bolton-by-Bowland and spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful walks. Cosy and surrounded by pumpkins is exactly how I want to be after a rainy weekend in the RV.

Not only is this a great spot to eat and drink they have some of the most beautiful accommodation around and a huge list of events over the next few months. Definitely worth a visit over the festive period!
