This is what its all about! Lovely to see our proceeds go to good use. Well done Chatburn CE Primary School 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We have officially opened our ‘Peace Pods’! Our School Council have worked hard to plan and develop part of outdoor area to provide shelter, a space for learning, and a calm place to gather with friends.
A huge thank you to Clitheroe Castle Bonfire & Fireworks Display, Heidelberg Materials and Clitheroe Round Table for your incredibly kind donations to help make this happen.

Thank you to Replay Direct for supplying and installing our wonderful new pods!

THANKYOU!
This morning the Bonfire Committee and representatives from our town's Service Clubs handed out cheques to the value of £14,000 profit from this year's Castle Bonfire to 12 local charities and organisations.. we were delighted to hear representatives from each group outline how they will be spending their proceeds and that all our hard work bringing this event to the community makes such a difference back within the community.
CONGRATULATIONS ALL!

Look out for our posts at the start of September 2026 when we ask for donation requests... and SAVE THE DATE! Next year we are on the field SATURDAY 7 NOVEMBER.

What a night! We've been busy clearing the field and have now received lots of photographs... Tag away!

Meanwhile we're busy tallying up our costs and will soon be able to announce how much we have raised for our local charities this year - we'll let you know asap but THANKYOU for your support as ever.

We had some burning hot entries - but Clitheroe Mayor Mike Graveston has picked the winning entries:

ALL THE GUYS are now sitting atop the bonfire waiting for 6pm ignition.... (that doesn't include the Mayor and our boss Andy btw)

Polite Notice: Flashing Goods
We get it - they're not cheap... but please know that the Flashing Goods that are sold INSIDE THE FIELD are the only OFFICIAL LED goods - and ALL PROCEEDS go to our 12 fabulous local charities..
If you want to buy flashing toys, then please consider that your money is going to good causes and support our stalls INSIDE the field... we seem to be getting traders without licences setting up outside, and this is a shame as it affects how much we plough back into our community.
