A little something different from me today… ✨

You normally see the finished shows, the feathers, the costumes and all the glamorous bits, so I thought I’d start showing you a little more of what happens behind the scenes too.

This week has been a mixture of organising, sewing, sorting costumes, DIY and getting everything ready for what’s coming up at The Hideaway Cabaret.

Owning and running a cabaret venue definitely isn’t glamorous every day… although somehow there still seem to be sequins involved in most things. 😂

So here’s a little look at life behind the cabaret in Clitheroe, hidden away in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire.

Turns out building your own little world of cabaret is kinda chic ✨

Behind every night at The Hideaway Cabaret are rehearsals, rhinestones, feathers, costumes, extension leads, performers, a dance floor and a whole lot of work that nobody sees.

We’re a live cabaret experience in Clitheroe, Lancashire, bringing one glamorous Saturday night a month to the Ribble Valley, with live dancers, singers, speciality acts and our rather unique BYOB twist.

And somewhere amongst producing it all, I still get to put the feathers on and step onstage too. ✨

We’ve been a little quiet on Facebook lately… but we definitely haven’t been quiet behind the scenes. ✨

There’s lots coming up at The Hideaway Cabaret over the next few months…some fantastic shows lined up, gorgeous new costumes, incredible performers and plenty of reasons to get dressed up and make a night of it.
