Distraxi -

Distraxi is a Bristol based death industrial/harsh noise artist who melds granite drums, helicopter drones, sharp arpeggiations and harsh swathes of feedback with the exteriorisation of a lifetime of dissociation through caustic vocal exorcisms. Ranging from ecstasy to despair, noise bursts like blisters on a fresh graft across six tracks of frenzied heavy electronics.

Intense and overwhelming Harsh Noise compiled together with manipulated field recordings, loops, effects and scathing sheet metal outburst. An accumulation of minimal and restrained sculptures of sound transitioning into raw overwhelmed states and vague frail ambience.

Their output works to combine a background in Hardcore and Noise while touching on EBM, Deconstructed Club and Gabba. This brings a wide range of sounds focussed more towards texture and mood than any single genre or style.
